Thermoforming and cutting molds consist of two stages as follows:
-
Forming and Cutting Stage: This is the stage where the desired shape is given to the plate that has been heated in the oven, through several successive stages of vacuuming and blowing, in addition to mechanical drives that push the material into the cavity. The most important element here is to cool it well until it takes the desired shape. At the same stage, the formed product is cut to the desired shape and with precise framing to obtain a product with clear shape and edges. In this technique, some uncut nerves are kept to keep the product attached to the plastic sheet and facilitate its transfer to the sorting stage with extremely high accuracy and almost negligible margin of error.
-
Sorting Stage: This is the final stage in the mold where the products coming from the forming and cutting stage are sorted using various methods:
-
1. Sorting upwards
-
2. Sorting downwards
-
3. Sorting using robots, facilitating the obtaining of ready-to-pack sets.
